Introduction
I first saw this game at Target as a sample when Play Station 2 first came out. It caught my eye because of the design and futuristic look but did not buy it untill now. This game is a future racing game where you must finish first and you can win with certain boost. You can get boost power by doing tricks and stunts but make sure you pay attention to the road and where you are going because racing on skyscrapper's walls is a quite challenge for some of us and you can end of falling into the lost.
Game Play - 8/10
It allows both D-pad and analog but the analog seems easier to control. The one can and pro about this game, is that their are not enough buttons. Out of the whole Play Station controller, only about 6 of them actually performs a certain job the others does nothing which Sony could have added some sort of special effects. But it is fun at the same time since it's simple and you should keep your eye on the graphics and not your controls. This game has very different stunts and different is good. The tracks are quite unique and weird shape which is very cool but can be sometimes quite difficult to play.
Graphics - 10/10
Sony yet again has shock us with this game. The graphics is very smooth and detail. It's very futuristic and flashy. Reminds me of a movie or tv shows like the future of Metropolis in cartoons but better. it's very different, the graphics don't look animeish nor cartoonish so i'm not sure what to say but they use variety of colors which activates part of your eye you knew seen before.
Sound - 8/10
Has the flashy, future, revolution techno sounds like the Matrix. Very ear catching especially the computerized voices.
Final Report - 8/10
This is a very good game coming from Sony. It has very detail graphics, and I have yet seen a game that can match it. The only bad this is that the tracks are quite hard and the controls are very simple for those advance players. Also, their is not enough modes, characters, and tracks which makes it not fun after a while if you master the game quickly.
